Ana Gribbons, visual artist
Perspectives on Experience

In early June I was honoured to be asked to participate in a group show at p|m Gallery in west end Toronto. Lindsay Allison, a new curator there, put together a great show featuring 5 artists.

The opening is Saturday July 20th from 5-8 pm at PM Gallery, 1518 Dundas St. West (just past Dufferin)

Allsion’s exhibition statement very well explains the show: “Perspectives on Experience features the work of Ana Gribbons, Carmela Casuccio, Vanessa Colucci, Richelle Coomey, and Eric Fefferman.  In their work sites a delicate and complex network of connections and webs that merges ideas, people, and events.

“These artists share an interest in the interactions between human beings, as well as a fascination for one of the most multicultural metropolises in the world: Toronto-where countless perceptions and beliefs consistently clash and mingle. It is a peculiar mishmash of various artistic forms, coupled with a renewed belief in art as a tool for exposing what is generally overlooked. There is no small joy in reveling in the interconnectivity between human beings, which is revealed here, despite the seemingly random occurrences of everyday life events.”
